The Expendables 2 is a 2012 American ensemble action film directed by Simon West. It was the second installment in the 2010 action film The Expendables.
The Expendables 2 grossed over $312 million worldwide and also get the big success at the North America as well outside from the North America.
This movie was better than the previous one but the plot and dialogues of the movie did not appreciates the most and faces criticism. A tie-in downloadable video game was released on July 31, 2012 as a prequel to the events of the film.
The Expendables 2 earned $85,028,192 (28.3%) in North America and $227,545,231 (71.7%) in other markets. The movie got big success and got the highest grossing movie in the opening weekend title. The Expendables 2 earned $10.5 million on its opening day and in the first week the gross goes to the $28.59 million in 3,316 theaters.
But the gross of the movie didn’t exceed from the previous sequel, in fact it was 18% less gross then the previous The Expendables.
The approval of the movie was 66% from the all reviews. “Taut, violent, and suitably self-deprecating, The Expendables 2 gives classic action fans everything they can reasonably expect from a star-studded shoot-’em-up — for better and for worse.”
So the movie gets mixed reviews from the public negative and also positive.
