It is “Sunday Dinner With …,” and Carnie Wilson serves Italian food to all the crowd.
The very famous 90’s pop singer knows how to serve and deal with the crowd containing adults as well as kids. That’s why she invites her daughters’ soccer coach and her family also.
The 44 years old star revels: “It’s just a simple, delicious, perfect meal; I’ve always battled with my weight. I really strive to cook as healthy as I can, but not depriving. It’s okay to have dessert once in awhile.”
And she serves the guests with special dish name as almond raspberry bars with walnuts and white chocolate chips and the recipe of this delicious dish is here below:
Almond raspberry bars with walnuts and white chocolate chips.
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 cups AP flour
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1, 10 oz. jar raspberry jam
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp almond extract
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Mix the butter and sugar in a mixer bowl until they become fluffy. Add in this mixture egg, vanilla, and almond extracts and beat them very well. After that add flour and salt in this and beat it. Stir it with walnuts and chocolate chips. After spread one cup butter in an ungreased 9×9 inch baking dish and spread the mixture. Add reburies on the top of this. Baked it until the color turned to the golden brown approx for 45 minutes.
While the raspberry bars are cooling, mix together the powdered sugar, almond extract, and lemon juice to make a glaze. Cut into squares and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
