David Gandy wants to do some charity work, personally, to solve out the challenges of people facing in UK and all across the world. Gandy organized a committee for supporting his personal future plans and ideas for charity works.
In which, British Fashion Council chief executive Caroline Rush, vogue.co.uk editor Dolly Jones, , Comic Relief marketing director Michelle Settle, model Poppy Delevingne, photographer Rankin, magazine editor and stylist Sophia Neophitou, GQ editor Dylan Jones and co-founder of Select Model Management, Tandy Anderson are along with him.
Absolutely Fabulous sketch – done by the Gandy, last year as his first work with comic Relief – also leads by Kate Moss and Stella McCartney. He is the new fashion representative and raising the money for charity purpose for the Red Nose Day.
David Gandy told ITN that he has a lot of initiative planes and steps for working under the sign of Blue Steel Appeal, in which Zoolander – a male modeling movie.
“Having seen first-hand the challenges people face in the UK and across the world, I wanted to do something to help,” said Gandy. “After working briefly with Comic Relief on the Absolutely Fabulous sketch with Kate Moss and Stella McCartney last year, I decided to launch the Blue Steel Appeal to fundraise for Red Nose Day through fashion.
I hope that the fashion industry will come together, have some fun, show off their best Blue Steel looks and raise money at the same time. There are truly wonderful people in the industry and it would be great to show the public the lighter side of what we do and encourage them to join us in fundraising. If we all rally together, I know we can really help a lot of people.”
